OU Exam Solutions
Introduction
As part of my revision for OU exams I always try to go through old exam papers.
One of the problems I have is to check whether my solution is correct. I have
therefore provided some solutions to help you do this.
I have provided answers for the following courses :-
- M337 - Complex Analysis (1998-2009)
- M338 - Topology (2006)
- M381 - Number Theory 2002-9, Logic 2000-9
- M263 - Building Blocks of Software
These are not MODEL answers.

There is also the excellent
M500 weekend
where they provide tuition and go through previous exam papers. There may also be
references to other pages with exam solutions on this site.
Most of the solutions are in PDF files. To
read these you will need a PDF reader. A free reader is available from
www.adobe.com .

I have not done this course. However I did study its predecessor M261 in 2001.
Solutions for the 2004 exam paper are available.
M261 - Mathematics in Computing
The M261 and M263 courses cover similar topics. I have decided to
retain the M261 solutions in case any students find them useful.
Solutions are available for 1997-2002.

I have not done this course. However I did study its predecessor M332 in 1989.
I have borrowed a handbook and have make copious references to it in the solutions.
These references are there to help you to look up things and most are not necessary
for the solution to make sense.

M386, Metric and Topological Spaces and Geometric Topology, in 1991.
This was superceded by M435.

on the OUSA site. It was removed after several months.
